He enjoyed having coffee with family and friends, going to the casino and traveling when he could. There weren’t many who could beat him at a good game of Cribbage. Jay’s hobbies included biking, fishing, putting puzzles together and playing card games. He also worked for his neighbor and coffee buddy, Oliver Jesme doing septic pumping.

Jay worked various jobs over his lifetime, including at Marvin Windows, the Warroad Casino and for several Carnival Midway companies through which he had the opportunity to travel to almost every state in the U.S. He moved with his family to Washington state as a boy and then back to Warroad, MN where he attended school and resided most of his adult life.

Jay was born in Warroad, MN on Septemto Clair and Elvina (Steele) Knight. Joseph (Jay) Jean Knight passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jat the Warroad Senior Living Center at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 3 days. Interment will take place at America Cemetery in Warroad, MN. A Memorial Visitation for Jay Knight of Warroad, MN will be held on Saturday, Jfrom 3-5 PM at the Warroad Senior Living Center Chapel in Warroad, MN with a prayer service at 4:30PM.
